The light object is designed in its pure form. The design is by Ross Lovegrove from 2008 and is produced by the Italian lighting company Artemide. This is the largest version of the Mercury model, which has a price of around 2900 euros. The optional pods lift in front of the large airborne droplets, which are in the air in between. The lighting of the property is made of thermoplastic material with a metal finish. The reflective end is designed according to the chrome plated steel. The fixture is made of aluminum.
The design has been awarded many times, including the prestigious Red Dot Award.

Artemide is known to be the leading brand in Italian design lamps. In the 1960s, innovative lamps came onto the market that were labeled as 'design classics'. Artemide was designed in 1960 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza and was built in a suburb of Milan. It succeeded soon after Artemide met the classic designs such as the Tizio desk lamp from 1972 by Richard Sapper and the Tolomeo desk lamp from 1986 by Michele de Lucchi. The motto of the work is: to illuminate the services of men and women. Technologically, the same work is continued with major projects on the other side, also in the socio-cultural field, based on Artemide's successes.
